I made this mod as I load WWR through Nintendont on a homebrewed Wii (which doesn't allow the loading of custom textures). Please also note that if you're playing TWW or its ranodmizer on Dolphin, it is much easier to simply load custom textures in order to achieve the same effect (check out Hypatia's High-Res Wind Waker Texture Pack, linked above).
use the modded ISO to generate your randomizer seeds, and voila! you did it :)).export the newly modded ISO ("Export GCM") to wherever you like (it is NOT recommended that you save over the original ISO! either save the new one in a new location or rename it so you know which one it is!).find the original Pz.arc file (path is " files/res/Object/Pz.arc"), right-click and select "Replace File," and navigate to wherever you extracted the modded file from step one.in GameCube File Tools, under the "GCM ISOs" tab, click "Import GCM" in the upper left and navigate to wherever your vanilla TWW ISO is located select and open it.
zip and extract the "Pz.arc" file anywhere on your desktop
This is a skin for the non-playable Zelda you fight Ganondorf alongside at the end of the game.) ( Note: Though the Wind Waker Randomizer allows players to alter the colors of the player model, including custom ones, this is NOT a skin for the custom, playable Zelda model you can download for the randomizer. I am responsible only for downscaling the textures and injecting them in a way that will work on console.
Having played a whole lot of WWR on console recently, I was tired of reaching the final battle only to fight beside an incredibly pale Zelda - so, I decided to do something about it!Ĭredit for the altered textures themselves goes fully to Hypatia, who gave me full permission to upload this mod here. Then, out of nowhere, the giant bird returns! It snatches up Link's sister and flies off! Now, Link sets off to track down the bird and save his sister. As they're both trekking back to the beach they came from, they meet up with Link's sister. After fighting off a couple of monsters (things that had not appeared on Outset island before now), Link finds the girl. Link looks up and sees a huge bird carrying a girl! Down below a pirate ship is chasing them, launching cannonballs at the bird! Suddenly, one of the cannonballs smacks the bird right in the jaw, causing it to drop the girl! Link quickly grabs his sword rushes toward the spot where the girl was dropped. At around noon, Link spots something strange on the horizon. Everything seems to be going great, however, soon, the day takes a turn for the worst. As per tradition, Link now dons the familiar green tunic of 'The Hero of Time', given to him by his grandmother. The game begins on the dawn of his birthday, the day Link comes of age. Link begins this installment as a local islander on the island of Outset. The Wind Waker played host to an enormous overworld covered by an enormous, deep blue ocean. It uses the 'Cel-Shading' graphical style, a style where 3D graphics are made to look like hand-drawn images. It features a very unique storyline and a brand new set of characters and items. The Wind Waker is the first Zelda game to come out for the Gamecube.
